game mechanics

im sure this isn’t the first post about this but game mechanics are all over the place for several days now. the worst of which is attempting a block but the game dashes your character forward. and before you ask:

1. no im not playing the game upside down
2. yes i know my left from my right
3. no i don’t live in uk
