Explain right of the Phoenix anybody?

I was fighting dark Phoenix on master mode. All she had was 1 of the permanent buff circles, the yellow one with wings. When I took her to zero health it triggered right of the Phoenix, but she gained 90% Heath back. How does this happen?

Her abilities say it's based on the amount of force charges she has. But there were no charges showing...

Am I missing something with how her sig ability works?

You read her ability right. Sounds like a bug

In uncollected there's a 100% recovery node. I haven't read on master one. Make sure u check the node.

100% recovery should only double the life restored. Her recovery is based on force charge. One charge should give minimal, albeit doubled, recovery.

Yet I've watched her regen to about 90% life with one charge on my fights in Master as well. Seems like a bug or poorly worded node buff, but, eh, it's not like she's hard to beat.

At least it's Dark Phoenix, and not Ice Phoenix again.

She regens X amount of health per phoenix buff
She gets those by using sp2 or heavy attack
My guess is that she had like 5 phoenix buffs and you dealt the 'would be' ko blow without noticing
