Hela and Thor Ragnarok Synergy not always working [Under Investigation]

By the way I read Thor Ragnarok's synergy with Hela, he should get 10% back after every fight. But that doesn't seem to be the case. He seems to be getting it every third fight or so. Is this a bug or is there something that mitigates his healing? (Please don't tell me it doesn't count as his kill if the opponent just happens to die of shock damage...)

I used thor and hela today in aq and he does not regen after every fight
