Enemies constantly blocking Hyperion's special 2

Even if I mash the button immediately after completing a 5-hit combo, enemies are constantly recovering in time to block Hyperion's special 2. I have not been able successfully land it for a couple weeks now, and I can land a special 2 with every other champ just fine.
