Can we do multiple EQ?

Can we do multiple EQ at the same time? e.g. i am currently doing Mutant quest so under EQ i just get "Continue" button, meaning untill that quest is done i cannot do Monthly quest/Modok Lab/ Daily quest etc?

Why not just finish the quest?
