Sentinel synergies

Why are all of his synergy one sided? Like why is he the only one that gains anything from them, was this done intentionally and if so can we have an explaination why? It kind of makes him hard to use anywhere but defense.

Sentinel is a taker, not a giver. Sentinel doesn't really have a concept of being a "team player", except maybe with other Sentinels. When paired with those Champions, it is more of providing the Sentinel with a new subject to analyze than something it would consider a teammate. However, the Champions paired with it do far better than most of the Sentinel's test subjects/targets.
