How can I upload Videos to Forums

Is it possible to upload vids directly from my computer, or do I need to upload to YouTube and then link? Also wondering how people attach gifs to forum posts. Is that under "attach a file"?

@Batpotter1 i tried that, but it doesn't allow mp4 files. Do I need to convert it to a different file?
