How to counter SafeGuard in RTTL.

Don't know if you know this... but Iceman's frostbite counters safeguard nodes as it does more than 1% damage. Just letting you know the trick.

Ability accuracy reduction is the real counter here, makes all your hits bypass safeguard

Any champ that does damage over time (bleed, poison, shock, frost, incinerate, degen) does wonders there.

AA walks through it with his neurotoxins. If you're facing a bleed/poison immune, go with Hype's SP1. If the AI is immune to debuffs, Magik's limbo or Electro's Static Shock cause extra free damage.

I’m pretty sure no, because his damage is based on the damage he does. He does do it in less than 100 hits, but DoT and AAR champs do it much much better

Damage over time isn't that great, most of them have spite which damage over time champs trigger power flood. Best way to counter is Loki, Hela, Thor Rag. Curse them then drop L2's takes 7% off per l2 while they are cursed. And loki gains power freely like dr. strange until L2 is full. buff him will power gain synergy and you have one bad combo right there.

Dude... Spite triggers power flood when you have a buff and not when the enemy has a debuff! Also, opponents in RTTL can have either Safeguard or Spite, not together at the same time.
So any damage over time champ is great.

10 Heat charges = 180% of damage dealt as direct damage, so at 10 Heat charges he’ll be doing 2-3% per hit instead of 1%

There are multiple champs you can use. CB or any defensive ability accuracy reducer can work. Iceman and any other damage over time champ is another choice. Yellowjacket and Vision are other options.

Any DoT effects are great, also use Quake's heavy and Visions specials. They bypass it

You can go for champs that have damage over time skills like bleed, poison, cold, incinerate. Or you can go for champs that have defensive ability accuracy reduction, so safeguard is ignored. This champs can be Elektra (85% reduction), Black Widow Awakened (10-100% depending on Signature level), Crossbones, etc. There is a lot https://mbch.guide/en/champions/tochnost-sposobnostej/
There are also champs that do damage over time AND apply ability accuracy reduction, like duped archangel.

Passive defense ability acurracy reduction, but can't be Elektra cause to activate the opponent needs to be under debuff effects. If you don't have any no debuff dependent ability accuracy reduction champs maybe a regen champ and make the fight long as needed
