Sentinel bug?

I have a 4* r4 sentinel and in playing with different groupings I've found that by himself or with as many as 4 synergy links his pi never changes? Normally as you add synergy this increases, but not with him, why?

Sentinel only has reduction abilities... It doesn't change his Attack or Health in anyway.

Perfect block and crit rate don't change base attack or health stats either but both increase pi.

Because critical rating I believe affects Rating
