Defending Special Attacks

Has anyone noticed anything weird on defending the special attacks of certain champs?

Blade seems to be particularly suceptible to high damage from special attacks despite blocking- my 4* Blade (4/40) got KO’d by a SP2 from Yondu despite blocking and being over 70% health!

It’s not just Blade (Voodoo’s defence against specials also feels light for example) but Blade vs SP2 from certain champs feels particularly bad?

How do I put this in a constructive way.... ok so blade and voodoo are very good champions and I have both a 5/50....that being said their defense isn't that great so they tend to take more damage. It is much better to simply dexterity specials and try not to take blocked combos

Yondu has a killer sp2, even if you block. It's easier to evade his first special.

Take the point on Blade and Voodoo’s defences and also on Yondu SP2 (which to be fair I wasn’t aware of not having him on my roster), but despite that to KO a champ from 70%??

Again I would accept this if 3* or low rank but come on.....no matter how bad at defence a 4* at 4/40 shouldn’t be KO’d whilst blocking surely?

Depends on the enemy's level, and by the picture, depends on how many specials you used that fight. He has a killer SP compared to everyone. Also, I don't believe blade/voodoo have very high block proficiency, compared to say WWII. They'll naturally take more damage already.

Just checked Blade’s block proficiency and it is only marginally lower than DD (original), SL, and Wolvie. So yes nowhere near WW2 but not on the same level as Rocket or Electro!!

So the original point is still valid because you’d never expect DD or SL to be wiped out by a Yondu SP2 while blocking?
