User Menu Disappears

Whenever I have used Signature Stones on a character (or presumably any item) and using them finishes off the remaining count of them, it causes the menu to auto close, usually back to the item or character screen that came before it. Now it just causes the menu options to disappear. The background still shows, and the drop down menu shows as well, but with no icons or image showing if you click on the menu to go to different sections.
The only option is to close down the game and restart it.
