Hey guys, I would like to ask 2 questions regarding things people talk about here.

What is "duping"? Is it when you get a duplicate character and that character's signature ability gets awakened/ranked up? Why do people talk about it as if you can grind it?

How do you gain "shards" from duping?

Duping is when you get a duplicate champ. If you already have a 3* Drax and you open another 3* Drax it's a dupe and his signature ability is either opened or increased.
When people talk about grinding they mean in the arena. You can win a champ if you score high enough. The feature champs will give a full dupe but the basic only unlocks the signature ability...1 signature level instead of a full dupe.
Depending on the star rating you get shards for the dupe. A 3* gives 4* shards and a 4* gives 5* shards.
