24 hour timer on offers

This is like the 5th or 6th time Kabam has lost money and I lost the chance to get an offer! Why do you put a 24 hour timer on offers??? You don’t have a specific day that offers come out so I’m not always prepared to purchase $100 or more offers but it’s my intention to buy.

So I decided I was gonna buy the 5* offer today when I got paid but now I can’t! Why??? Stupid 24 hour timer! So you all lose money!!!!

I lose the ability to purchase the offer! Please consider changing that! Have a specific offer day so people can prepare their money! Also give more than 24 hours to buy!!! You probably lost large untold amounts of Money because people weren’t prepared and didn’t have enough time to buy!

It is funny....you have 2 posts in your history...one from a while back that talked about walking away from the game because it is too expensive....and this one which is complaing that the timer prevented you from spending 500 dollars...

I agree. I just got paid 10 minutes after I go to buy the 4* odin deal and consider the 5*. But as fast as it came it was gone even faster. Rarely do u see vision offered and when u do, 24 hours? Seriously. That's not fair imo..

And your point is...? All that **** is too expensive! The difference is, this was a chance to buy a specific champ! Not a “Chance” at a champ that you probably won’t get! I’ve played this game for years and I thought to myself this was a chance to get a rare champ! Not a Crystal for a “Chance” to get a champ!

That’s the difference! And honestly I still think about walking away from the game! I been tired of the BS! I’ve just been hanging in there.

The OP brings up a good point, his previous post are irrelevant to his current post.

Deals like the 4* Vision offer do not come around often and Kabam gives no advanced notice. I’m sure the community can come up some reasonable ideas to improve this system without destroying the character of the game.

Main issue for me was their was no timer. Random offer was made with one of the rarest hero's offered, Vision, no timer on the deals so many who wanted to buy it today after getting the money up the first 24 hours can not. Random, rare, no timer, and gone. My alliance alone, kabam lost out on a minimum of 400 bucks by 1pm est.

The impulse buys they get from people not taking time to consider the offer and choose not to buy it outweighs your purchase, by far. Psychological warfare.. or marketing 101? You decide.

You could have bought the 4* for $100 and then I think there was a 2 day timer on the 5*. You could have asked about the length of the offer but you didn’t

The 5* offer lasted 2 days if you bought the 4*. That comment was in regards to how long the 5* offer would be available not the offers in the store that included vision. Those offers always last 24 hours

@DOOMSHAKER once you bought the 4* there was a timer on the 5* for 48 hours. Not sure if it’s 48 hours from when you buy the 4* or when the deal came out. The 48 hours was not in reference to the unit store deals that included 2*, 3*, or 4* vision. I know it wasn’t clearly stated but no one asked how long the 4* would be in the store. People only asked about the 5* as seen in the thread you posted

Me too. Because no timer on the 4/20 deal is messed up for many who went to buy it day 2. If we would have known the 4* time frame many would have made sure to get it before losing it. I'm not a fan of no timers and miscommunication.

Well it’s kinda hard to ask about something that you don’t even know to ask. What **** head response! I know from experience that offers normally last 24 hours.

I didn’t see a timer and I was about to buy that Saturday as soon as I got paid. I literally got paid 20 after the deal went away! Had I known there was a time to buy, I may have borrowed the money or something!

But it’s like some of you guys have said, maybe it wasn’t such a good offer anyway. I at least would have liked to buy the 4*. I’ve played this game for years and that champ is kinda rare.

That’s really the only reason I would want that champ. Idk, maybe they did me a favor....

I had waited for very long for the 4* deal with units, I missed the last one as it popped up as a surprise and lasted only 24 hours, and back then I wasn't saving up enough units bcos I didn't anticipate the deal.

This round I will pass bcos not worth paying real cash for him, but I would still like to get him as a collectible using units, and I totally agree that for this RARE character that comes out once a blue moon, 24 hours timer is too short, be it the cash deal or the unit deal. Either pre-announce it few days ahead, or keep the timer to say 48 hours or 72 hours, KABAM will NOT loose by extending it, bcos it is NOT like once you extend the timer we can figure out a crooked way to "steal" it from you.

A blessing in disguise is that for OP, you get to keep your cash for something else in real life

Honestly I love this game! I didn’t need him but as it’s been stated may times, it’s a rare character and I just wanted him. I think most people just want better communication. I would too, I could plan a lil better.

I don’t mind spending money. I just want a value for my money too! As far as the timer, I know they lost money in my alliance and our sister Alliance! A lot of us where gonna buy the deal that Saturday!

If you had to wait till pay day to be able to purchase an offer, you probably shouldn't be purchasing it anyways. Granted, it's your money and you're allowed to do whatever you want with it, but this kind of offers should only be bought if you can afford to discard that much disposable income.
