Loading issues iPhone 8 plus

The game sits on loading screen then says connection issues. Won’t connect at all. But I can log in on my old phone. iPhone 6s Plus.

    Had this issue the other day an someone suggested to delete game then reinstall an it worked for me

    Afraid to do that. But I guess it’s all saved so should be safe to do that
