Piloting, sharing, and trading.

Hi Miike.

I don't mean to be a pest but this issue needs to be spelled out.

So after stating that...
What if it's a purchased account? It's not piloting or sharing or even trading.
Gifting an account is also none of those above. That's a gift.

I've heard of some players that have bought other accounts and are going to be very upset that you changed or added these rules.

I only ask because the policy is not clear.
Or rather the policy has not been given to us in writing that I know of.
Where is it written other than off the cuff notifications out of the blue.

Gotta give the rules before punishing players for it.

Again. Not trying to be a pest.

Also does it mean all MCOC events or just war?

Need clarification. It's not fair to make up rules to a game that people Pay for and not give notice.

Thank you Miike, for your time in addressing all that I have stated above.

Respectfully,

747mick

The policy has been clear from the beginning. The enforcement hasn't been the best over the years. You were never supposed to sell or gift accounts. You were never supposed to give out your login info. That's for any and all game modes. Not just AW. People are confusing the crackdown on sharing stemming from AW but it still applies to all game modes.

Ok. Because it only mentioned War in notice.

Whether you get the account for free, borrow it or buy it, it is still account sharing. Because the total progress that account makes (up to the transfer and after it) is shared. Which is illegal, because ToS is very clear about that.

So IDK what you are rambling about "the policy is not clear" and "the policy has not been given to us in writing", but since it is account sharing (in a very specific form), it falls under ToS, which is a very clear written set of rules.

How is buying an account with progress different than paying mercs to progress your account? Both are instances of you gaining an advantage you haven't earned.

Buying, selling. or giving away an account is, and always has been, a violation of the Terms of Service, which everyone agreed to abide by when they started the game. The only person allowed to play an account is the person who originally created it.

You can read and review the Terms of Service here.

I have been respectful and you are not Marri.

    Not rambling. Just asking.

    Enjoy your day.
