Sym fights in AQ

So in this current seasons AQ I have started to notice that when fighting syms they are ungodly fast and have an increased Block. But the thing that Im wondering is why when fighting a mystic sym, does it cause multiple damage when I block a special. The first is usually 300-400, but then you'll see 1500 - 2000. If Im blocking shouldn't it only be one number. It bugs me when I don't take a single hit from a sym but block damage can take nearly 3/4 of my health. And is there any way to see the stats of these syms, like block penetration or Challenger rating. I feel as though they are just ridiculously beefed up.

Not to mention that most syms are completely idle even though their PI is over 10,000+. Typically, it's usually best to bring regenerative champions - the likes of Wolverine, the Iron-Men, or even block proficient champions like Quake, Captain America, and etc. Make sure to play it safe by staying back and landing those parries, since the aggressive approach doesn't work out too well.

They removed the ability to crit on blocked hits in 12.1 (but they might have kept it enabled for the syms in AQ. Who knows?)

It just seems crazy that a blocked hit can take 3k in damage.

problem with symbioids is they are fighting strange like standing in middle fight not even blockin and waint when u attack to make first move they are fast as hell their recovey from heavy is fast as well

1) Challenger rating is based only on rank rarity. A 4* rank 5 and a 5* rank 3 have a rating of 100. If you go up a rank from there it increases by 10 per rank and if you go down it decreases by 10 per rank.

2) You won't see just one number for blocked hits. You will see different number based on the type of attack; medium, light, heavy, and special attack. The number will vary based on your champion's armor, resistances etc.

3)You can see thier abilites with the (i) on the fight screen unless their icon is hidden (?). TMK block penetration is not a base stat for anyone and only appears as an ability or synergy at this time.

4) Yes they are beefy just look at thier attack power. The one that comes to mind is the skill sym with something close to 4K attack.

Collector has 111 for all resistance/penetration stats. Don't know if they changed it later. All quest opponents (or maybe only special quest opponents like RoL, LoL, 5.2, AQ, etc) could have it too. We have no way of knowing (since they don't display base stats for themthem)
