How are we supposed to get the top prizes when we only average about 100k points per day. Are there any other ways of getting more points? Or would the new content have enough shards to get to those top prizes?

Event quest that launches Wednesday will get you around 2 million. Vanquishing blow like 1.8 million. And trials of the mad Titan also.
