Abomination with suicides (same bug as Cable?)

When playing with Abomination in arena (With Suicides on) if the champ I'm fighting is not poison immune, he gets poisoned right at the start of the fight, I'm assuming it's because of my Double Edge mastery. I doubt this interaction was intended.
