Only problem is this is 2 week old news. This change was implemented May 5th (and if you want proof go look at the linked forum thread they gave you) Don’t expect anything to change, because it’s already happened.
Why did kabam just now send this? Who knows, it’s kabam after all.

Because we wanted to ensure that everything is where we would like it before sharing this news with the wider community. Don't forget, while there are a lot of Summoners that frequent the Forums, Reddit, and get news from different Channels, there are still lots more that do not frequently go to Community Spaces, and we want them to know as well!
