Does anyone know if Voodoo's signature ability affect also his initial regeneration, extending its duration?

    Yes it does. Almost to 20-25% if you have recovery mastery

    Yes, it can. It's tricky but Brother Daniel has to sit with you and you have to use the special before it initially runs out. There are videos out there for it.

    No. The regen timer is automatically extended. You don't have to do special attacks to extend it

    It's based on combo meter. I'm pretty sure executing the special locks Brother Daniel on to him increasing the ability accuracy.

    You start every fight with brother Daniel anyway so the regen timer is already extended automatically.

    The real question is if you use an odd combo special during the regen, does the regen duration get shortened retroactivity or does it stay at the same extended time..

    No it does not. The timer is set at the instant the buff (or debuff) is applied and does not change retroactively.

    This can easily be seen with poisons on odd combos. The timer stays longer even if you switch to even combo.
