Despair & Deep Wounds mastery requiring 2x cores to reach Rank 1 - Bug?

Can you tell me how many total carbonadium cores and stony cores are needed to unlock the deep wounds mastery?

As per your in game guide, the requirement for rank 1 on deep wounds mastery is: 1 carbonadium cores and 2 stony cores to unlock and then 10 units to reach rank 1 (see screenshot attached)

I have already done the above but still my mastery is not active. It keeps asking me for an additional 1 carbonadium cores and 2 stony cores to unlock (see screen shots attached).

The same thing happened when I unlocked the despair mastery where I had to spend 4 carbonadium core to unlock when you in game guide says that only 2 cores are needed followed by 30 units.

I have raised a ticket but am not getting a satisfactory explanation.

You don’t have any points to put in it. You can rank it to 5 with 5 carbons and 10 stony but without points to put in it, you can’t actually use it

I already put 1 point in deep wounds - that’s why it shows 1/3 but the font colour is red vs the yellow for the other unlocked masteries. The same thing happened with despair. I put in 2 carbonadium cores, 30 units and 1 point and it showed 1/5 but in red font. When I clicked on the mastery it asked me to put in another 2 carbonadium cores. When I did that the font colour changed to yellow and the mastery became active.

You need to unkrcl each rank of deep wounds with 1 carb core an 2 stoney cores. Seems you've only unlock lv1 an that's why it's asking for more resources to unlock lv2

Ah okay. That means I wasted to carbonadium cores on despair? I never intended to unlock rank 2 on despair but thought I had to get it to turn yellow so spent 2 more cores when it asked me. Is there any way to get those two cores back?

It goes yellow if youve unlocked more put point in and then reset the masteries and put less points in than unlocked. Press yhe “I” information next to it when your looking at the mastery and it will tell you what level is available. If you unlocked it to the next level there won’t be a lock next to that level number

No you can't get the cores back, dispai is great for void so worth having it unlocked for when you pull him in the future

Also it only goes yellow once you've unlocked every level of that mastery with cores

Have to see if Kabam will credit it back with a support case. I think they’d do it if you explain you just did this but we’re trying to put it in deep wounds. Hopefully they will if you report it ASAP

Yup you have despair at level 3. Looks like ulyou unlocked it 2 too many times if you were trying to increase deep wounds instead

Forum mods can't help with in-game stuff. Submit a support ticket via in game settings. Don't get your hopes as support won't refund them since it's your mistake,
