Pool’s Gold Crystals don’t count for summoner advancement?

Why don’t the Pool’s Gold crystals count toward summoner advancement? The original gold crystals did. Is this a bug or intended?

The Pool's Gold Crystal is now correctly giving points toward Summoner's Advancement.
