OG Ironman silently nerfed [Under Investigation]

I use IM in AQ and noticed that he hasn't been regenerating as much as he used to so I checked his info and saw that his regen dropped by 2k hp. The first image of from when I duped him again about 2 weeks ago and the 2nd if from today. @Kabam Miike was this intentional or did this happen as a result of changing something else in the game?

Mine is only R2, and I haven’t checked, but if this is accurate, I’m speechless: why on earth would OG IM get a downward adjustment to his regen?

I can confirm this. The sig 191 was from May 22 and the 193 is from today

Ok so my question is.... when we spend time and money playing this game doing things for certain champs and then find out there’s hidden or secret changes, how does this help Kabam build trust for this company that we are able to spend money on. I’m done with these shady group of people running the show. It’s the little things that aggravate me the most. They preach how they want to be transparent and build trust with the gamers but we keep finding out things that they aren’t being open and honest about. Maybe I just missed that memo of IM getting nerfed. This really bothers me

They mentioned it in another thread and are “investigating” it. Also it’s sunday, so don’t expect a fix or even a response for a few weeks.

@Kabam Miike why would u guys want to nerf IM. We all know he’s not the best champ in game or close to it. His overload is the only good thing he’s got going for him. Is it because you guys are trying to make people use more units for AQ now. Just be honest, that’s all we want. Maybe that’s a dumb question, who’s going to admit that right. I have been using IM for every single fight in AQ map 5 clears for 5 days straight. I’ll show my path plus taking down the first NC.

Guess you guys are seeing people do what I do on a daily basis in AQ using no items aye. Gotta make that money somehow but I would think being honest about these things would reassure the gamers and increase profits in the long run. The culture of the environment around here is really negative and things like this definitely doesn’t help a lick.

I'm with @BigDaddyJoe . I ranked up my 5* IM specifically for his regen usefulness in AQ. I'm already having questions about whether I want to keep playing this game. It's moves like this that just keeps pushing players like myself closer to just quitting.

It was previously a bug that iron man was regenning so much and it was making future content difficult to make and causing problems. As such, kabam have deemed it necessary to fix this bug.

In a less jokey tone, I do think this really needs to be answered. I hope it is actually a bug that his regen is lowered, what huge difference does it make?

I am pretty sure kabam have said they do not silently nerf champs. This must be another one of those thing that they forgot to mention in their patch notes like symbiote Spider-Man’s evade. Prob what there gonna say anyway.

This is a bug! We didn't silently nerf Iron Man.

Sorry for any confusion, stress or frustration this was causing. We've got the rest of the team roped in on this and we're currently working on getting a fix.

I'm about one week away from quitting. I've just about had it with having to put up with all their junk just to play a game they keep changing the rules on. They are like kids on a playground, making the rules as they go and they don't have to follow the rules they make if they don't want.

Things like this really make me wonder how many more things get changed that noone catches. It appears as if Kabam will just throw in these needs hoping nobody notices, if we don't, "great! It stays in". If someone notices it," oh hey, we didn't do that, it's a bug, we'll get right on it"

I honestly think they did this unintentionally. Same for Drax, Quake, Mordo/Blade interaction, Magik and many others we will gradually discover as time moves forward. What really is starting to worry me is Kabam answer to the majority of these issues. Instead of admitting that they did this by accident and fix it asap, they say "everything is working as intended". But you just CAN'T let a character function for a certain way for months and months without an ingame notice that there's a problem, and then "fix" them. Most of the players don't visit the forum, and all relevant information as to be provided ingame. This is a very serious matter because although this game is ftp, millions of players spend money here and invest so much time because they want to rank up their favourite champs. Kabam can't make these changes and denny compensation for all those who decided to rank up champ A or B based on their unique abilities. AA change was the worst decision imo of this last update, because many players ranked him specifically to r4 and r5 for LOL. When a mod confirms he is working as intended and then many months later another mod states, oh no, that was an incorrect information, denying paying customers for compensation for their error is just bad business. Kabam will loose thousands of players because they insist on denying that they screwed up, and compensation seems completely ridiculous. I don't understand what's the big problem in handing out rank down tickets! It is the only way of fixing what was done. Sorry for deviating from IM post but I'm feeling more and more frustrated by Kabam's position. This is not 12.0, but it's quickly escalating to a similar place
