Which 4* champ to awaken?

Got a generic awakening gem, need some help deciding who to use it on.

You have to consider that Blade is available as a 5*, while Wolvie is only max. 4*, and I don't think Blade needs it as much as Wolvie does

But there isn’t much content that Wolverine will help you with. I say that either AA, Blade, or Medusa are the best of the options bc they are more useful.

Blade or AA. Blade is just better in general imo, that healing can get you through all content. But sometimes you need a good ability accuracy reduction champ to get through hard champs, so you'll need a champ like AA.

I would still go for Blade out of all of those, he will save you many units.

Medusa is a decent damage champ and some decent utility (good against masochism nodes and she destroys robots). But she pales in comparison to what Blade can do. Her best asset currently is in AW defense.

Wolvie sucks for end-game. His main role was for AQ, but he has no purpose there anymore. Why even use Wolvie for regen when Blade can do the same and so much more?

And that argument is moot, sure you might pull a 5 star Blade, but when will you awaken him? I'm still trying to awaken 5 stars that I pulled a year ago.

Another counter-argument is that Blade is so good, I know people that have both his 5 star awakened and 4 star awakened in a quest team.

Forget hulk, wolvie, and rogue. They're not options here. AA is worthless unduped so he needs it most, but medusa is waaaaaaaaaay cooler. Blade is the best choice though i liked medusa best.

AA is not useless undupped, my undupped AA tears through opponets all the time, he can still stack bleeds, poisons, and nerotoxin without the dupe

It’s a close call between Blade and AA but in the end I think I would go with AA. Not only does he have the ability to prevent regen awakened, but he can completely shut down all abilities. This makes him incredibly useful against so many different champs not limited to spideys, regen champs like Arc Overloaders, GG, and Sabretooth, Magik, Electro, Jugg, and MODOK. He was my first 5/50 and he has gotten me through so much content. Blade is still very powerful unduped and gains no damage output awakened, only survivability. In the end it’s your call, they’re both good choices.

AA relies way too much on people being bleedable and poisonable. Medusa doesn’t have to worry about that. I would go either her or Blade. Medusa probably gains the most tho

Thanks for the input everyone, ended up going with Blade but AA and Medusa were close.
