Blade parry on masochism node

Masochism turns a single debuff to regen then a timer starts. How come when they are not also stun immune, masochism registers both a parry and a bleed as a single debuff? In a regular fight with no nodes the stun/parry and bleed register as seperate debuffs. Just curious if anyone else finds it odd not whining about anything.
