While it is true you can shut down and entire BG who doesn't know how to deal with IMIW...Any recommendation to not awaken blade who will change the entire scope of the player's experience is incorrect.

Blade if used properly will allow you to survive more than you ever have before. He'll save you so many units and you'll love him.
