I'll have an update on that for you guys early next week. But the gist of it is that we had a lot of participants, and got a bunch of feedback. The team now has to go over that feedback and our Data, and then we can decide how we want to proceed. It's a bit too quick for the 19.0 release, though.

Side note: There is something really interesting that I want to point out in these notes:

"Want to know what Buffs and Debuffs are active in your current fight? Tap the Pause button to see more detailed info about which ones you and your opponent currently have"

This is super rad, and I really hope you guys like it. It really helps when you're not very familiar with a Character you're fighting, or are fighting with. It's also really great for newer Summoners.

So we can only get the highest milestone we reach and not the others earned? Sounds like we are being punished for trying to reach higher milestones. And also when is Drax going to be fixed. He can’t bypass mordos astrial evade anymore.

Fixed an issue where AI would freeze during a fight and become unresponsive until hit by the player @Kabam Miike what was this for a fix. Meant nc gone giv u more money

I interpreted that as there as a bug where when the champion was just lying down on the floor and you could hit them to continue. I don’t think it’s about magik timing the hit well as they stand back up.

So, now this is a bug? You do know it isn't easy because you require near perfect timing to do a stand-up intercept and now you nerf it? Great moves kabam. Anything which benefits the player, is immediately "fixed".

It was a confirmed bug since the release of mordo and a noticeable error after drax moveset was updated

This is correct. It was a bug that was introduced a couple releases ago that we have a fix for now. Basically, this allowed Champions to continue hitting/use a special on a Champion that was still on the ground.

However, I have never personally done this "standing intercept" you guys are talking about with Magik. Could you explain it? I can ask the team if it will be affected as well.

What about Domino hitting thru your block let me guess it will be in september update, in AW this is a game breaker I would rather you guys fix that over rogue or jane showing large those are pointless fixes

I dont believe it was device dependant as much as you are being told, ive had 4 devices in that time and behaved the same on all of them, how are people that dont come to the forums often or at all meant to know its a bug and not to rank him for it and you'd think after doing nothing about it for 3 years that it was staying, can you not see why people always demanding RDT?

Thanks for the Video! Turns out, I have done this many times. What you're referring to (starting at 1:35) will not be affected, but if you jump forward to 1:53, you'll see that the Summoner playing Magik mistimes their attack, and Winter Soldier is able to start attacking, as he should have been able to. With this bug, that wouldn't have happened, and Magik would have been able to keep going, which is not intended.

It should be noted that the Summoner was able to land all of those Attacks because Winter Soldier did not try to immediately block when standing up. A more defensive AI may attempt to block right away, and would be able to break that chain

So, long story short, what this video is showcasing will not be affected.

I'll be honest. When I saw this feature - the first thing I thought of was "well, they are testing this to see if it would also be a viable option for displaying what synergies champs may have in AW."

I'll be honest. When I saw this feature - the first thing I thought of was "well, they are testing this to see if it would also be a viable option for displaying what synergies champs may have in AW."

It's a feature being "borrowed" from their Transformers game.

Do you even play this game ? Magik is so effective because her and other female champs with the same downkick make standing intercepting more fluid.

Yeah I'm going to call bs on that, I"ve had a lot of different devices and phones ( different brands, different models, different versions, different operating systems, etc)I over years and it's been the same on all of them so that argument doesn't hold any water especially for how long it's been going on for.

I've also seen that whole it's not you thing is an issue with a device thing from you guys and others to many times to count over my career with mobile games.

I am getting so sick of this Drax change, it's a nerf just admit it. It's not about frame rate, he was 100% consistent for me for countering astral evade and I have fought a lot of Mordo's. It was highlighted as a unique feature and was the main reason I and many other people leveled him up so either issue rank down tickets to those who have a Drax or update him so the "unique feature" of his 2 hit medium counters evade.

Otherwise you're heading down a very slippery slope, people pay hundreds of pounds on your offers only to have the champion they upgraded nerfed, you have to take responsibility when you make a significant change to something that people have effectively payed for!

Dude they finally fixed a bug that’s been prevalent since Mordo was released. They were actually transparent about this for the longest time and said they would eventually fix it. Be grateful it lasted as long as it did because they usually fix stuff like that right away. Please stop screaming for RDTs because you’re devaluing them and they’re not applicable to the situation because it’s been a confirmed “not working as intended” from the start.

They did in fact state repeatedly going back a long ways that this behavior was unintended and due to timing issues. There was no reason to lie about it way back then. And in fact, it wasn't just Drax that was able to do this, many other champions could do this but with different success rates. Drax was just the one with the best success rate. But the fact that others could do this less than 100% of the time demonstrated conclusively to me that this was, in fact, not a deliberate effect just as Kabam indicated all along.

The players can't demand transparency from Kabam and then ignore the one time they were actually transparent about intent.
