Beyond handouts

With roughly an upwards of 3/4 of the entire community repulsed by recent developments, with more potential I’ll-will once the Mystic Dispersion changes start effecting war, this was (probably) the last thing Kabam wanted to happen.

However, I don’t think the community cares. Just another display of ineptitude. The community needs results. And dealing with bugs after the maintinence is a fantastic start.

Donino: Block breaking needs to be fixed. Her ability to remove Dexterity is hypocritical given Alliance Quest Dormammu is not awakened for fear of interaction with dexterity.

Nightcrawler: still capable of evade attacking

Iron man Infinity War: unaffected by Armor Shatter

MODOK: “drifting” out of blocked combos… basically evade attacking

(I’m undoubtedly sure that the community will be listing off more in the comment section to this discussion)

And secondly, that’s just the bare minimum work needed to call this fiasco “working as intended but they still hate us” levels of operation. What we also need is any champions mid fight to be restored to the condition to previously entering the fight (basically a global “resume from closed fight) that does not effect the in place system of reurning from a crashed fight. This will show you care.

Lastly, benefitting both players and you, buffing older champions. How does this earn you more money? Well if the worst prize has legitimate use then it’s still a “prize” and we’re more encouraged to open/buy if we have better things to hope for besides the few useable champions. This would benefit defense and offense and further escalate arena’s, crystal sales, and any promo you want to make from the plethora of changes to be made. Change the meta not by force but by creating a dynamically changing and escalating arms race that effects old and new alike. 2018 was the year of promised buffs afterall

Lot of stuff that needs to get fixed, no doubt. Kabam communicating better is a huge issue.
But "upwards of 3/4 of the entire community"? Oh c'mon...if 75% of the people that use this forum...much less the whole community were angry...the forum would burn like it did the days after 12.0. I remember a thread getting to 5,000 posts in 48 hours...this is nothing.
You make some great points, just avoid the "Goldpool Arena-like" exaggerations.

In my defense I also took into account the comment sections from 3 of the biggest streamers I know of on YouTube that cover MCOC before they renounced the removal of diversity. That’s enough rage to fill LoL

Furthermore, between the announcement removing and keeping diversity I spent a day watching threads get opened and closed like revolving doors. It’s not all on the forums cause Kabam doesn’t what that

To a degree that's understandable when there's a dozen threads all about the same thing. But yea they do get a little quick with shutting down threads that aren't in their favor.

It was an entire day worth of Kabam shutting down posts though. Given all the jail bars handed out including front page runners with posts by people behind bars that’s just impressive

Even Seatin's latest video has less than 1,000 comments...not people...just comments. 75% of the players is likely somewhere around 600,000-800,000. It bears remembering that most of the player base does not live on these forums, or Reddit, or even YouTube. Even with deleted posts...it does not come close to 12.0 rage. (trust me, they were deleting and banning plenty back then)

From anyone being vocal about their opinions it predominantly is negative. Of course I can’t count everyone but the data provided points towards my statement at least as much as we can truly see

Had you wrote, "many people are angry" I would of never even posted anything in response. I agreed with most of your post. Just thought it was silly to claim 75% of the player base was angry. I am currently in the general chatrooms of 5 alliances, and all of the recent chaos (not counting the current game outage) is only being actively talked about in one of them. Out of the other four rooms, there has been only a couple of people discussing it. There are many folks that want to see the AW cheaters banned, but are not raging about it because much of the cheating occurs in a bracket where it is mathematically unlikely their rewards are affected. Plenty that are likely not aware of some of the bugs in your original post. I am not mentioning all of that as a way to make an argument about percentages, more to illustrate that there are entire alliances that do not live and breathe this game. 500k players with 3 years under their belt who I know don't come here, or Reddit. They may watch strategy vids on YouTube, but they avoid the "state of the game" stuff.
My point was, it is easy to forget that because we spend a lot of time here, or on Reddit, or Youtube.....all those folks we read comments from and interact with are such a small percentage of the actual player base. There are many players that are happily naive about a lot of the bad stuff. The are players who's "Kabam is bad" mentality is based on "I opened 5 featured crystals and got all 2*s" and nothing more.
I wasn't offended by the statement you were making, just the mathematical assumption.

I’m also annoyed at some of the changes but it does affect us equally, so provided we have a specific champ for AW, we will be able to have an even playing field. It clear they want us to spend in order to win.

I also spend hardly any time on this or any other forum unless the game is down and I’m trying to figure out when it will be up again. I probably won’t be able to place in the current AW as I was busy all day and the games been offline the whole time I’ve been home.
