Why do champions have special nodes on Arena?

Maybe this is a "feature" nowadays, but it is worth asking.

I had matches lately where champions would have special powers that they do not possess.
A few days ago it happened to me against a Wolverine. He had a magenta icon of prowess.
Today it happened to me against a Hulk that managed to be indestructible for a few seconds (like Luke Cage).

Not sure if there is something giving those specific champions on those players, special abilities on arena, but it sounds unlikely.

Synergy. Hulk gets indestructible when paired with Thor Ragnarok and Hela. Not sure on wolverine, could be one of the newer champs.

Thanks! I would have to run into those same matches to check if this was the case, but I will assume it was.
