Unfazed all the time in war nkw

I have a starky as a war attacker, seems like since war miniboss changes I keep coming across opponents going unstoppable after his evades, I realise this must be unfazed mastery, just curious why it’s happening all the time (on minibosses especially) seems like the mastery has been changed, might be worth investing in it now? Seriously can’t remember even seeing it once before this, was the mastery previously broken?
