Samsung overheating

R&D normally isnt the least funded department in a company like yours.
This game is destroying phones, and most of what i see is Apple this, Apple that. Now another emergency shut down due to issues and still there's horrible lag and glitches.
Has there been ANY real, tangible progress made in stopping the overheating issue from happening? It gets very tiring hearing about blah blah beta testing. Try more advanced testing before you release updates.

2. The downtime this morning was caused by a fault in Google App Engine and caused problems world wide in other things, including apparently Pokemon Go.

3. They are supposed to be testing a new beta build of the client to resolve the overheating issue, but as I am not in that beta I cannot say whether the new build resolves the issue. But they seem to be doing tangible things to attempt to fix the problem.

4. Saying that hearing about testing is tiring, then demanding that more testing be done before releasing updates, is self-contradictory.
