Would you sell 5 Star champs you don't use to get 6 Star shards?

I know i am dying to have this option. I have so many useless 5 Star champs that I will never waste T4 catalysts on upgrading. Come on Kabam, give us the option!

You're mistaking rudeness for bluntness.

It's stupid to sell 5*s for a hand full of shards when they can net high points in arena.

That and 6*s can't even be used in t1a and t4b arenas.

This right here. Well I wouldn't say stupid, but short-sighted maybe. Collect em and put in a little effort in 5* featured for an easy 500-2k shards twice a week.

I'm not saying this is the right path for everyone. But right now I'm sitting on a bunch of catalysts and 6 star champs would help me advance faster in story than the useless 5 stars I have. Even if I had every 5 star in the game I don't have enough time to run arenas enough to place and get a 5 star champs. So selling them for a couple 6 star champs would do me far more good. It's the same reason I sold my unused 4 stars to get 5 stars for act 4 back in the day.

Good lord you're telling me you can't progress fast enough in Story content with your 5* GR, Quake and Hawkeye? And since when 6*s are so useful, or at least more useful than the better 5* champs you have? They are still relatively new and some have to be duped to be useful, which is really hard to do now. 5*s are still ruling the contest, and will be for some time.

If it's anything you've slowed down your own progress (and wrecked your account in my opinion) by continually selling all your champs-
1. You can't and won't do arenas to get shards to open more hero crystals, because of a lack of champs to run arena as well as the will to do so.
2. You don't get dupes of your champs to get more shards to open more crystals, because you don't even have the champs to dupe.

You are entitled to your own opinion about selling champs, but your short-sightedness won't get much support here. Too many seasoned players have heard one too many story of players "accidentally" selling their 5* champs, to know that selling 5* champs is a terrible idea and should never be brought back.

I would sell both my Dupes of my Colossus and my Groot because they make me feel salty.

Seriously though, I feel it's a terrible idea, they give a lot of points in arena. using them in arenas or duping them again is far more useful than selling them.

Should it be possible? Absolutely.

Kabam should release control over the player account. I think it’s a bad idea to sell champs. But if someone wants to they should have the opportunity to do so.

They aren't mutually exclusive. Your response is both blunt and rude. "Stupid" has a harsh connotation. To be more blunt and not rude you would have had to say. "It's a bad idea." And even then it's open to interpretation.

To answer the original question: I think the 6 star shards from duping, the possibility of champs being reworked or gaining new synergies, and use in arenas makes selling champs a bad idea.

Many players do not like to sell their Heroes. I particularly sell those who are not even useful for the arena. Example Jane Foster, Loki and Phoenix. My way of playing does not fit them. So selling is an option I would also like for 5 *

Newbies should NOT have anywhere near enough 5*s to do this even if it worked... You get 5*s pretty quickly but not that quickly.

Also, it takes a whole lot more than 4 4*s to get a 5* crystal and a lot more than 4 3*s to get a 4* crystal. I'd guess it would probably take 15-20 r2 5*s to do this and that's more than most people have.

People should have the option.

I know there are plenty in the "never sell your champs" crowd but the fact remains it is often advantageous to sell champs. Proven mathmatically. But for the majority of people, not selling is the best plan.

Math actually shows u get more for keeping and duping them then selling them. More shards. More iso. More rating. More arena points.

It's your account do what you want with it... Personally; I agree with the poster above and in my opinion, find it "stupid" to sell less used champs. They do make it easier and faster to build shards to open new and hopefully better champs. as for the thin skinned people who get offended at everything including descriptive terminology that has been around long before most people alive today voice your opinions I could care less. That's the right we have and if you don't like that either. Oh well...

I would sell them if I could get the resources invested on them back.

Some rank ups are outdated. I confess that I didn't expect champions with auto block, inverted controls and "luck" to appear in the battlefield. As I mentioned before a RDT every year would be an excellent way to compensate us from all the changes as the game progresses.

Honestly, I would only sell my champs if I could get the resources and reapply them on these new champs. Selling them only for the shards just seems like a bad option, honestly.
