Is Sentinel better for AW attack or defense?

I’m just wondering so I could use him in the most beneficial way

I'd say Attack, because Medusa & Blade exist. Still a good defender nonetheless.

I'm gonna change my vote to defense, cause its easier for sentinal to gain analysis charges as people are more likely to do repeating combos
