How do you classify Unblockable attacks?

Are Unblockable attacks an offensive ability? Sorry if the question sounds dumb. We were having a debate in our Line chat.

Would appreciate if someone from Kabam could answer. ty.

    To be honest, many unblockable attacks are possessed by terrible champs. The only ones I can think of, aside from heavies, are loki and groot sp2. Loki and groot are both terrible, so make of it what you wish.

    I believe the reason for the question is to figure out whether defensive ability accuracy or offensive ability accuracy reduction would reduce or Nullify...?

    I have no proof of this therefore I can’t be positive but I could swear that, while using cross bones, there have been times where “unblockable” didn’t pop up and I was able to block attacks against boss with unblockable finale. This would make it a defense ability but, like I said, I have no proof and can’t be positive...
