Ranking up 5* champs

I'm still a relatively new player and only have two 5* champs (Storm and Drax) and both are unduped.
Any value in ranking up my 5* champs right now, or better to continue focusing on R4 more 4* champs (currently have 8)? I have several alpha cats about to expire within a week and over 20 of the 5k mutant ISO that's just sitting there.
Available 4* champs to take to R4 include (but not limited to):
Hyperion
Dormammu
Duped Beast
Duped Venom
Quake
Agent Venom
Hawkeye
Hulk
Scarlet Witch
Duped Winter Soldier (not quite 3/30 yet)
