Ggy special 2 a projectile?

Is GG s2 considered a projectile?
I was just fighting og DD and he fully evaded the s2, I get the 3rd hit of the pumpkin bomb being a projectile but the first 2 hits aren't.

He flies his Hover board thing at him, he doesn't throw it at him

But it doesn't physically touch him, the fire does, and therefore projectile...i guess?
Hmmm this made me think how does OG DD look evading GG's sp1?
