Permanently replacing versus crystal

I believe replacing this crystal with an exclusive 2* basic crystal would be much better and encourage player to do more 1v1 matches. Having a crystal with every exclusive 2* not in the basic premium reel.
No additional rewards but 1 sig level.

    Have it refresh with the new feature 5* crystal and have it contain only the 6 new feature champs so we can test out the new champions to see if they’re worth crystals/grinding for. E.g this month a 2* Corvus, Cap IW, IMIW, Domino, massacre and wasp

    No, let the contents be the exact same as the 5* featured. Limiting it to 6 won’t have people do more.
    Also, make it a 50/50 drop between a gold crystal and a ‘2* featured’ crystal.
    Or even 30/70.

    That way people win regardless.

    When you say “won’t have people do more”, are you meaning that kabam will want people to do as much 1v1 as possible, so if there’s less chance of a feature then they’ll do more arena?

    If so, what benefit does kabam gain from this? Nobodies going to buy an Odin vault to grind 1v1 to snag the new 2* version. Just have it as the 6 new feature and be done with it, kabam don’t make money of 1v1 versus, and short of putting 6* shards as a reward, they never will.

    Fair enough.
    Thinking about it, I just did a bunch tonight, got what I wanted/needed for now, so I’m done..
    It won’t entice me any further, adding levels to them will come from stones anyway.

    Me too, although I did need to get over 100 crystals just to find a Killmonger, wasp and infinity war iron man. Only those three needed, and then on my second account I needed around 12 different characters and got them all from 40. Lady luck is a fickle mistress

    But I would be very interested and pleased if there was a way to test new champions without being a content creator.

    @Bapoi Same. I believe if they add 2* hero’s every month, like maybe at the end of this month they add Korg and Heimdall to the crystal, it would encourage more 1v1 matches. However, this is unlikely.

    I endorse this general idea.

    I also laugh at the thought of some random 2* champ being added with a niche ability that could negate content, like a 2* Ronin on this month's master & UC 3.1 and 3.2 bosses!

    I don't think quickmatches is more useful than dueling. A while back I suggested replacing quickmatches for a "training" feature. Where you can select a champion with a specific AI (war, AQ, arena, LOL), and specific level and rank. This way you can test new champions, or even train for a specific fight. I wasn't sure back then what type of reward you could get from training (as you are getting what you were looking for already). They could give you some gold.

    If they added training they would probably make it cost 5 units and give no victory rewards. Then when people complain all they'll say is the training is your reward
