Definitely doable for a single path. Save units and crystals, I did it with 4* SL.

I used a 4* sl and only use 3100 units

Yeah, with the 4* you'll have to deal with the enrage timer. With the 5* it's not as big of an issue.
It's definitely doable, but you will be using many more units. And like kronos said, no solos.

I used a 4* SL for the "easy" path. It's a lot more costly item wise. After I finished I duped my 5* SL from the shards.... lol

It just means that it is time for you to rank up that 5* and make a run at 100% now.
