AW Stun Node Activations?

Can anybody explain what triggers the activation of the 10% chance to stun nodes in AW? Is it a random activation on any attack? 5 hit combo’s? Cant seem to find a specific answer to this.

You asked for and explanation and got it then get mad at the answer.
Each time the opponent makes contact with you through an attack, theres a 10% chance it will stun you for 1.5 seconds. Very, very clear, cut and dry.
