Can't hit vulture after parry sometimes [Not A Bug]

Hi, noticed another weird issue. I tried on android and on iOS. If I parry vulture in the quest, the first punch whiffs. Happened a few times. It looks kind of like how when Phoenix goes into that regen mode when she dies once, and any punch looks like it's going into an invisible forcefield. That happens with Vulture. Is this one of his abilities or a bug?

    Is his ability. He can activate a charge that will make the first hit against him to miss.
    You need to read his abilities to discover how it works
