Google Play and Kabam

I recently got a new phone and I'm having trouble linking my Google Play account to the game. Every time I try to log onto my Google Play account it is telling me to create a new profile. I'm level 60 and I have plenty of good fighters so I don't want to start over but I can't buy anything in game without my account being linked to Google Play.

Has anybody else faced this issue? If so how did you fix it?

It should link up. That really bites. I feel for you. Hope it gets resolved. Maybe it's a Google issue or your new phone. I'd definitely keep your old phone so you can still play on Wi-Fi til you figure it out. Good luck.
