MD

Was anyone truly still complaining about MD?

My alliance hops around top of G1 and P3 in war. The closest wars we play is usually 20-30 defender kills on each side. So now it’s gonna likely be 15-22? What’s the endgame here? With diversity and MD nerfs are we moving towards wars that have 5 defender kills on each side?

Are you really saying that MD is so powerful, that it makes up 80% of your kills? Are you sure about that? If so, then yeah it needs a fix. Also I’m willing to bet that defender kills from Hype, IWIM, Medusa, GG, SM, just to name a few, will be unchanged by the MD changes. It’s not the end of the world. If the MD changes really mean you will have that many less defensive kills then that alone proves that MD was too powerful in its current state.

Also I don’t use ANY mystic defenders. Cuz they don’t get any kills. I use 100% diverse defenders and they get the exact same amount of kills.

No what I said is that MD is not the main reason you are getting kills.

What I said was if MD alone is netting that many of needs to be fixed.

What I said was, other champs are getting just as many of not more kills than your MD claim

You’re kinda saying 2 things. Where as I am saying one thing. Needing MD makes the small pool of remotely acceptable defenders, even smaller.

If you can’t see that then that’s fine. But I buy t2a x5 every week. Cuz I never KO in war. Many others do this as well....

Maybe you should read all the threads posted in the last year alone about people wanting MD changed. This was something the COMMUNITY asked for. Not something that Kabam just decided on their own.

Not really saying 2 things. I am just saying your claim that kills will drop 80% is not true.

MD needs changed in how it interacts with buffs. It’s something WE asked for. Not something that Kabam thought of one day in a meeting.

It’s not the kills, it’s the way it intacts with dex. It’s it way it SHOULD interact with dex. It’s nothing to do with kill counts. This change is good. I shouldn’t be punished by evading a mystic to the point they do nothing but stand there and gain energy when I still have the buff.

You buy 5 chunks of t2a fragments a week? Pretty sure that’s not even possible... My alliance is top 150 AQ and I only get enough glory to purchase 3 chunks per week (I also don’t die in wars... Plat 1 FTW)

I apologize that is 100% a typo. I buy 4 most the time. Sometimes 3 if I need to replenish a handful of potions.

This is accurate. MD is only supposed to trigger when a buff expires. If you evade 6 or 7 times in a row without striking you are feeding power from a single unexpired buff. MD never should have behaved this way with dexterity to begin with.

This is not a nerf but a long overdue fix.

Also regardless of all of this. If MD functions as you say it should it will mean there are less viable defenders in the game. And that IS BAD FOR THE GAME

my alliance won a war the other day and only KOed 19 times in total. Where the challenge? We took down 150 defenders only KOing 19 times!!!

I disagree that a broken mechanic is necessary for the good of the game.
