New AW matchmaking has made it impossible for new alliances to move up tiers.
About a year ago a few of our guys decided to merge together with another strong alliance and we quickly worked our way up to a gold 1 tier alliance. Well about 2 weeks ago, 10 of us guys decided to start a new alliance and we found that the alliance matchmaking is a lot different now. We have had about 5 wars and every war has matched us with an equally skilled alliance that I’m guessing just started a new alliance as well. The problem with this is we have lost 3 of these wars and are now sitting in stone tier unable to move up. We should not be hitting these skilled alliances until we get to higher tiers.
