It’s not a fix. It’s a massive nerf that puts the last nail in mystic champs as defenders. Introducing a champ to deal with mystics is fine. But at least blade couldn’t stop mystic dispersion from occurring. There should be rank down tickets for mystic champs.

@zackb213 Miike said they haven't decided yet but will be monitoring mystic champs after the nerf to decide. I don't need one but I think they ought to provide one or two.

It makes md function the way it has always been described in game. Sounds like a fix to me.

LOL this company don't talk with us. We just can tell them "AMEN". How many time and ppl asked them rank down ticket on MYstic Thread ? They all ignored it NOW. They don't listen their players like they pretend to do it. This is the proof ! They change MD masteries, many ppl ranked some mystic for their interaction with MD, will not work same and now we are FU***ed ! We all should stop this game and communicate with this company.

Especially when we are honnest and asked them just MYSTIC CLASS SPECIFIC RANK DOWN TICKET !

Everyone is acting like MD will be 100% useless. Not true at all. The biggest change is with its interaction with the Dexterity mastery. Yes, now it says Buff vs effect. So it's not AS effective. However, with the new changes to Dexterity, MD CAN still gain power dependent upon whether the player uses the Precision Buff gained from the evade (Dex). It's giving players a bit more control over when it pops. So when you evade Dormammu's S2 on Unblockable S2 (just as an example), you don't feed him a whole bar of power plus simply because you successfully evaded the special attack. In many other cases, evasion can occur without activating Dex as it was, let alone will be. Yes, the Dimensional Beings have become Blade food. Frankly, I like all the changes that encourage more diversity. It gets boring running into 3+ Magiks, Dormammus, Mordos, Medusas, IWIMs, Dominos, M.O.D.O.K.s and the like on a defense grid in War. Yes, the last few were not Mystic, but you get the picture. I use MD for attack purposes with Magik in AQ (also other champs like Voodoo, Guilly, Hood, etc). It will still be just as effective as ever against Buff heavy champs like Groot, War Machine, Angela, etc. If you were relying on MD to activate SOLELY due to someone evading attacks, then I guess this would be nerf in your eyes. To me, this is a fix. One I welcome. I wouldn't Rank Down ANY of my Mystic champs. I never got around to ranking Dormammu so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I will still continue to use Mephisto, Magik, Voodoo, Guilly, and so on attack wise. We strayed away from being Mystic heavy defense wise awhile ago in my Alliance. We run a full 150 diversity. So this change really doesn't effect us too much defense wise. It DOES however allow us more control over Mystic power gain in AW attack phase.

There are so many on this already.
They are not warranted. Weren't in the first thread, still aren't.

The ONLY thing that has been said is that the performance will be monitored over time, which you could have known had you actually performed a search...

People have learned to use true strike for auto block defenders and are now intercepting iw im heavy on defense. We need to rank down tickets for that too. Also I died in 5.4.6 fighting Ultron with my 2* sg can we get rank down tickets for that too

They didn't alter the base champs, they altered something that boosts a champ to the way it was intended, much like when they nerfed Willpower (to how it should have been from the start). The only time they gave out rank-down tickets in the past was when they drastically altered a champ and how it functioned.

The only one who deserves a rank down ticket for the md change is the guy who ranked 2 a duped 6☆ juggs. After all hasn't he been punished enough by duping juggs

We need rank down tickets. Champs were ranked up specifically for current md in war def. Now all those cats go to waste

If the only reason to rank up champs was MD, you really didn't even look at the champs themselves.
The champs haven't changed, MD still works (but less often than it did), and it affects your defenders and guess what? It also affects the opponent's defenders. So while you 'suffer', so do they. Equal suffering, equal footing in war.
Look at a slightly larger picture than 'muh defense champs suck' since it's not true first of all, and secondly, it's everyone that's affected. Bigger picture. Not just 'woe is me'.

Can you people please stop screaming for rank down tickets every other week. If you ranked a champ and regret it or awakened a champ and regret it that's on you. Unless kabam destroys a champ with severe ability changes like they did in 12.0 there is no reason to keep asking for rank down tickets. People haven't even tried out the new md yet and kabam is giving you back everything that you invested in the mastery (the only thing that is being changed). If you ranked defense strictly for md you already saw a decrease in kills with the release of blade. This change has little to no effect in attack (I was in the beta testing so I can speak from experience) what it will do is open up aw for a more diverse set of attack. Anyone relying solely on me for defense is insane if they think it was going to actually get kills.

Hey all! This has been addressed a few times over in the forums. We don't have any plans to add Rank Down Tickets into the game at this time. We do appreciate your feedback, and will make sure the Team is aware that some players are still interested in seeing them added! Since this has been addressed, we'll be closing this thread down to keep the forums more organized.
