X-Force Crystal Shards - unable to buy X-Force Crystals

I have saved up 48K X-Force Crystal shards, waiting to buy the crystals. The shards are still visible in the Special Crystals tab, but there is no option to convert them to crystals.
From another previous similar Guardian of the Galaxy event, the crystal shards were at least converted to normal PHC crystal shards.

Will this get a similar treatment? Or how can I convert the shards to the X-Force Crystals?
