Is AQ broken

I noticed yesterday on day 1 we are already fighting max PI champs at 5/65 with no change on day 2. If scoring is the same we will come up short by 10 million points in the course of a normal 5 day map 5 cycle screwing us out of a normal peak rewards. Is this intended

He's not talking about the alliance event but the actual aq scoring he's already reached max pi of champs which I think they said should take little bit longer

Ours jumped from 45k to 53k
