The Epic Uncanny room boss is too much

A 30k rated 6* brand new champion who barely anyone knows how to fight is ridiculous to put in a side quest like the danger rooms. When these quests first came out I was so keen for them and for a bit of a challenge but to put this in and with most players needing to revive and use items to complete it for a measly 200 5* shards is just dumb. Either decrease the level of the Emma frost or bump up the rewards.

I actually found that having her there, provides people with a nice place to go and practive on her.
She is far more manageable than she is in EQ. Granted, the powergain is annyoing, but she hits for so, sooo much less in the Danger rooms, it's more than doable.
Take the Heroic quest, practice on her, go into Master, practive the powergain version of her, finish Epic.

Nobody ever said it would be 1500PI chaps like the GP event. Don't let the term Epic become synonymous with that.
It's relatively low effort, for 200 5* shards, as well as 540 t2a shards. Something everyone seems to miss. It's not that bad.

Epic is Epic should be, a harder challenge than average. It's not mandatory to do it though. There's always the option to stop at Master if you're so inclined.

But for the energy cost and the rewards, to me Epic is just fine. Some easy to obtain shards there.

My issue is the energy cost, 2 per step adds up especially when it has to be done in 24 hrs. Just another way to get energy refills purchased.

First off, no. It's not easy. Secondly, it's inconsistent with the entire Event and ends up being deceiving. I don't believe their intentions are to deceive. That's not my M.O. However, when you have people doing content at one reasonability 6 days of the week, earning Tickets for Uncanny, and then being ambushed by an UC Boss for such small Rewards, that's deceiving. You have a whole number of people who amass Tickets they can't use, and the whole Event leaves a bad taste. I did it once. I won't do it again as-is. It's not worth it. It's about consistency, and there is none. To be clear, I don't hold it against the team, or feel resentful towards them. This is just one of those cases that it's a miss for me. Not consistent at all.

Honestly, if you read the announcement on the Danger Rooms, it's clearly enough stated in there.

That single line to me meant that bringing in lower champs wouldn't be a smart move. It sure as hell doesn't read like 'the diffculty will be the same'.
There's a clear warning there, even if reading between the lines is harder for some, this is pretty damn obvious in my book.

Some solid points made. Ultimately, the uncanny danger rooms are a waste of time in my book. The rewards arent worth the energy and item resources needed to complete it. Even one team revive and a few potions feels like a large outlay for the reward of a handful of 5* Shards and a sprinkling of T4CC.

If you literally not deduce from that there will be a bigger encounter, as well as seeing that you have your entire roster available, that's just silly to me. Not one day has master given you any choice besides 2*, Epic hasn't given you a choice past 3*.
Here you have up to 6* available and it doesn't trigger an alarm bell inside your brain? Come on. This is basic thinking. It really is. The moment I saw my 5* and 6* available, I knew something was coming.

I'm not going to partake in someone trying to convince me water is dry. It's a miss. If the rest of the Event was consistent, I would have no issues and people would have been able to gauge themsleves whether to attempt it or not. Let's be real here. This is half the problem. So many people arguing with others having a problem that there are too many mixed messages. It's inconsistent. Point blank. I stated my view, but I'm not going to listen to people try to wash it.

For those people saying epic should be a challenge first see the current condition of whole game on how bad it is running on most devices. I get it had to be hard but not insane to a level where our 5* r4 champs just become useless. Also pls don't talk about having god level skills bcoz we know 90% of you are just fake and trying to be a good pet for kabam

Brought my B team (4* 5/50 mostly) to Master and was shocked to see a 20k Emma. Haven't played against her on Uncollected yet, so it was my first time and I lost some champs. Since I am not a fighting god as so many in this forum apear to be, I decided to skip this Epic and save my passes to the next week, hoping for a different (easier) boss. Fingers crossed.

I'm just of limited patience right now so my constructive debate threshold is low. Lol. I agree that it was a warning, but I don't agree that it was an indication of the difficulty. Which is why I suggested for future that they give at least a range of Rarity and PI in the Announcement. I don't mind disagreeing. I'm just frustrated and trying not to deconstruct.

She is stun immune when in Diamond form, but once she has a bar of power more than you (or if you armor break her), she goes into Telepath form, where she is fully susceptible to the various debuffs. With her power gain, you can easily keep her at One bar+, while you keep using yours as soon as you get a bar, and she will be in Telepath mode the majority of the time.

The reality is that Kabam clearly created these for those that spend all day doing this. Without question a casual player has no business playing and they do not want you to. If they cared in the least they would at least tell you an accurate team recommendation.

Personally I am glad they did this. Now I know that it is a complete waste of time and resources to continue with this game mode at all. I will also make my alliance aware and save everyone the headache.

That's what has bothered me since the start. That energy cost adds up really quick.

Especially the Uncanny one, gated behind the entry tokens. Should be 0 energy at that point.

i think that's great they put emma frost there, more chances to practice towards the uncollected, i almost got her in 1 round, so maybe y try to do the 100% this month without spending too much resources

Once you get used to the inverted controls, Emma is actually pretty easy. I feel like she has low armor and health compared to the average champ (in telepath form) and my alt account was able to down her with SS at 4/40. This quest is doable and for only 3 fights it’s worth it. Although if I were to give any feedback I would agree the energy cost is too steep. Should be 1 energy per tile at most and uncanny should be free. Especially considering it’s running in tandem with danger rooms.
