Still not understanding Uncanny Danger Room

I saw your post, you extended the Uncanny Danger Room event. It seems to last forever. However, the Uncanny Danger Rooms still only pop up once a week??? A one-day-availability only needs a one-day-event. What was the point of extending? What am I missing? Or are you just taunting me because I didn't have time to enter on the day it was available? Not that I'm missing much. I saw the rewards, seconds before it closed. Meh.
