What’s *strange* about the electro crystals

So, old 5* characters being added in to the game has been a big topic of discussion, and it’s been said that there were no plans to add anything, so, why now? Why electro, why counter Corvus? It’s really weird, characters like Dr. Strange aren’t getting FGMCs, (hence the title) I understand SW, but this opens the floodgates, and I haven’t seen any Kabam post about the crystals, which is what I expected there to be, explaining their logic, the logic so far is. Corvus Lol, that’s what I got at least. If someone could try to explain this to me that’d be great

This was a complete test crystal by Kabam. Don't kid yourself. You'll see the old gods brought into 5* crystal like this. They want to see what the market is before doing so. Im sure they made a killing so it will continue, much like the red dead pool, these unique champs will rake in cash. What's even more Strange is that not a word has been said by kabam about all the data they collected on Dr. Starnges Nerf. He was top tier now I'd be surprised if he isn't in the bottom 20% of champs used. They won't comment because they knew they had to push new champs to make more money. All I wanted was for them to restore the way his lifecycle worked. It really was one of the best mechanics in the game, and it did take skill to play with him right.
