When are we getting an update on the v poor game performance

As per title. As you guys keep deleting my posts asking for an update in other threads, perhaps you’d be so kind as to answer that here.
One question I’m especially keen to have a formal response is this:
Does the overheating your game creates on certain devices, mine included, cause any long term damage?

I would expect since these issues have been ongoing for quite some time, your test team will have exercised due diligence and have some output on the defects causing those issues.
Please can you share this, or at least acknowledge the fixes you are putting place to address this long running problem.

Hi there, as was noted in the changelog for the upcoming 20.1 update, we are continuing to implement changes in the updates that should improve the stability and performance of the game. Because of the large amount of variables that come with people playing the game on so many different devices and networks, we can't guarantee that this will resolve all types of performance issues that anyone was experiencing, but we will continue gathering data on the reports that are sent in so that we can continue improving the game.
